Gary
Engberg is a professional
tournament angler and
fishing guide. He began
fishing tournaments in the
early 1990’s and has fished
the In-Fisherman
Professional Walleye Trail
(PWT), North American
Walleye Association (NAWA),
Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC),
World Walleye Association (WWA),
FLW, and Mercury Nationals
in the years since.
Gary is also an
accomplished writer,
photographer, videographer,
radio and t.v. show host,
seminar speaker, and an
advocate for getting
children involved in the
outdoors. Gary’s writings
and columns can be found in
many local, regional, and
national publications.
Outdoor Horizons in its 9th
year is one of
south-central Wisconsin’s
top outdoor radio shows
with WTDY 1670 AM in
Madison, Wisconsin being
the flagship station. The
show runs 45 weeks from
March 1st through the end
of the year. Show time is
8:00 a.m. Saturday
mornings. Gary also hosts
“Gary Engberg Outdoors”
radio show weekly on WBEV
1430 AM.
Gary will be speaking this
month on spring walleye
fishing. With his knowledge
base and guide connections
Gary is on the cutting edge
when it comes to walleyes.
