Walt Mattan - "Fox Chain Bluegills and Crappies" 
 

If you read articles or watch ice fishing segments on TV you know the name Mattan. The younger of the Mattan's, Walt will be our speaker in Illinois. Perhaps if we promise not to go too late Poppee may make a cameo appearance.

Walt has been a regular contributor to Mid West Outdoors Television and Magazine for more than 20 years. He has also been featured in Fishing Facts and In-Fisherman Magazine and Television. He has designed dozens of styles of jigs for Custom Jigs & Spins and is currently the president of Water Werks II Boats, Inc. in Naperville.

A wealth of fishing knowledge but especially on the hard water Walt is going to talk about strategies to make your ice fishing more successful. He is going to concentrate on techniques for the Fox Chain O'Lakes but his methods can easily be a adapted to most local lakes.

This will be a good one with a lot of little tips and tricks so mark your calendars.
