Wisconsin's
Chase Parsons is one of the
youngest Pros on the AIM
Pro Walleye Series
tournament circuit today,
and although he's got a
famous last name that is
synonymous with Walleye
Tournament Fishing, he has
carved out a name for
himself through hard work
and determination.
Following in his father's
footsteps, Chase Parsons
has made an impressive
imprint on the fishing
industry throughout his
short career. Currently
only 28, Chase maintains
the title as the youngest
full-time walleye angler.
Throughout his 7 years as a
pro, Chase has been
involved with many national
television and commercial
spots for several powerful
fishing companies. He works
extensively with sponsors
in many aspects of the
fishing industry, including
product development and
seminar/video promotions.
Chase is a frequent host of
"The Next Bite" television
show, which airs on NBC
Sports.
Last year Chase won the FLW
Lake Oahe Championship,
earned FLW Angler of the
Year Runner-Up and was 4th
place in the AIM tournament
at Winneconne, WI.
Unfortunately it was not
always this good for Chase.
His first tournament as a
professional on the PWT was
on the Fox Chain of Lakes
in Illinois and he took
almost dead last, 118th of
125. He always look back on
that tournament as
something that can still
happen if you don't work
hard in pre-fishing,
because it's impossible to
compete on the pro circuit
without putting the time
in, everyone is just too
good.
Chase plans on covering a
variety of techniques that
he uses to be successful.
He frequently thinks
outside the box and comes
up with some great ideas
that nobody else has
considered. This looks to
be a very good presentation
so you will want to get
there early as seating will
be at a premium.
