WI Meeting: American Legion Greendale Post 416 | 6351 W. Grange Ave. | Greendale, WI 53129
Date: Wednesday, August 9, 2017
Speaker: Adam Walton | Pike Pole Guide Service
Topic: Lake Koshkonong Walleye

Adam is a licensed United States Coast Guard charter captain and spends hundreds of hours on the water each year. He's also a certified firefighter paramedic and CPR/First Aid Instructor. Adam specializes in year round multi-species fishing, but walleye and pan fish are his favorite. In addition to guiding and tournament fishing, he enjoys writing for outdoor media agencies and conducting fishing seminars.

Pike Pole Fishing Guide Service was established with a firefighter theme in mind. Although pike are one of the fish species we target, the company name “Pike Pole” actually came from a tool used in the fire service and by whalers during the early fishing industry. Owner Adam Walton started fishing with his grandfather Roger at a very young age. Roger, is a retired career firefighter an avid angler and had a huge influence on Adam's own firefighting career and professional angling passion.

Adam fishes the waters of the Rock River, Wolf River, Lake Winnebago, Fox River, Green Bay and the Madison Chain of Lakes. His presentation for this meeting will focus on walleye fishing on and around the waters of Lake Koshkonong.

Adam is a pro staff member with Crestliner Boats, Mercury Marine Motors, Hard & Soft Fishing, Northland Tackle, and Vibrations Tackle. He is also a field staff member with Humminbird Sonar and Minn-Kota Motors, along with belonging to the Pure Fishing Select Angler Program and St Croix Rods Guide Program.

Date: Wednesday, August 30, 2017
Speaker: Capt. Jay Stephan of Stephan Sportfishing, LLC.
Topic: Musky Fishing On Green Bay

Jay Stephan is a fully licensed United States Coast Guard Charter Captain and the owner operator of Stephan Sportfishing, LLC. Jay guides out of Green Bay throughout the year for both musky and walleyes. Jay has worked with Brett Alexander for a number of years and is somewhat of a protégé learning under his tutelag.

Jay's presentation will center around the explosive bite of the massive Green Bay muskies. He will open up and discuss how they target these giants from opening day till ice up in the lower bay. To say he is successful in an understatement as Jay has placed 3rd twice in the prestigious Best of the Bay Musky Tournament.

Techniques on trolling and casting will be discussed along with locations and patterns these big fish are following throughout the seasons. What equipment does he use to battle these bruisers.

All in all this is shaping up to be a opportunity to learn a lot about these big fish that have exploded in both size and numbers in the waters of lower Green Bay!
